Euroscreen acquires exclusive license from ICOS Corporation

Euroscreen s.a. announced it has acquired an exclusive license from ICOS Corporation for key patents relating to the human CCR5 receptor and its role in HIV infection. The ICOS patents U.S. 6,265,184, U.S. 6,268,477 and additional pending patent applications on the CCR5 receptor will be combined with Euroscreen's own CCR5 receptor patents and Euroscreen aims to sublicense the resultant expanded patent portfolio to biotechnology and pharmaceutical partners developing therapeutic drugs that inhibit the CCR5 receptor for commercialization. ICOS and Euroscreen will share the revenues generated from licensing these patents
